Oh, No! Not another one of those Lander guys!
Sure enough, Bill Dieckmann shows off his Semroc Mars Lander before flight.
The Mars Lander was designed for B and C motors but Bill decided to try a D-24 in his Lander for the October launch.
Questions remained as to whether the D motor would work in a Mars Lander.
Seeing Bill's great flight would seem to remove any remaining doubts.
Bill Dieckmann's Mars Lander arcs over (above) and deploys its parachute on schedule.
While we don't have a picture, Bill stated that the Lander stuck the landing and was on its feet when he located it nearby.
Nice flight Bill!
Rick Shubert continues his march toward the George Pike Award with another flight of one of his 3D printed pyramids off the low power pads.
With the near perfect flying conditions we experienced in October even one of Rick's little pyramids flies nice and straight up.
Let's hope Rick Shubert doesn't get worn out taking the 3 steps necessary to recover his pyramid.
Has Rick flown enough to maintain his lead for the Award?
