John Haught loads up his Super Skunk at the high power pads. The Skunk flew on a 2 grain, 54mm EX J-249 to about 2,500'. John is one of TRIPOLI Pittsburgh's most expert motor makers and calls the dark, sparky propellant formula Shit Fire.

The Skunk, like others, required help from the Drone Squad for location even though it came down relatively close by.

The Drone pilot was able to easily locate John's rocket and was happy to help out.

Any flier can request a drone flight for location and should just ask around for help in general.
Jerry watches another of his birds go off the low power pads. Jerry flew a number of low and high power flights in July. Light winds make for gorgeous flights like this one.

Nice work Jerry!
Jerry's Mars Snooper drops neatly into the infield for an easy recovery. Check out the great looking parachute.

Jerry Andre flies a lot of rockets and rarely loses one. Anyone looking for advice about good rocket flying should sit down with Jerry for a few minutes.
Jerry Andre (at right) watches his Mars Snooper head up from the low power pads on a D-12 motor early on Saturday.
