John Haught is regularly at TRIPOLI Pittsburgh launches with some big things to fly and June was no exception.

Joe: "Ya see John, this thing is too small for that bohemoth."

John: "Er, umph, ugg, yeah Joe. Would you just pull the pin on the pad, PLEASE!"

Finally loaded onto the pad, John readies his Trumped for flight. A 54mm central L motor is followed by two 38mm I motors that airstart once the center motor finishes its burn.

This promises to be an exciting flight!

Pictures cannot convey the roar of this motor and the amount of cleaning necessary to get all of that black gunk off of the launch pad.

But the Trumped takes to the air in a beautiful and slow lift off.
